The Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has revealed that there are plans for a fitness camp for Championship players whose season has now ended.


O’Neill said the fitness programme would begin from the 23 to 25of May in Fota Island in Cork.

Ever since Moldova got their independence from the USSR on August of 1991, they have not been able to qualify for any FIFA World Cup and unfortunately for the supporters of the Moldovan national side, it does not appear like they will be able to qualify anytime soon.


National sides of all around the world are competing against each other in order to secure their qualification ticket for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup and things have not been going very well for Moldova as they are located in group D of the UEFA zone and are struggling in the bottom.

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo also winning his first major international title may have also played its part. The Euro 2016 concluded in the summer with Portugal lifting the title.
